What is the UK Tech Accelerator in Germany?

Running from September 2024 to January 2025, the accelerator will place six companies into CODE_n – a Stuttgart based Innovation Hub, part of de de:hub “future.industries”. Once there, they will receive access to startup support packages including introductions and visits to key global corporates and VCs such as Bosch, BMW, and ZF Friedrichshafen. The pioneering technology companies were selected from a pool of almost 50 applicants after presenting their market-ready innovations in areas such as quantum physics, AI, robotics and virtual reality to a panel of UK and German judges.

Why Stuttgart?

The city of Stuttgart is the capital of the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg – a place that boasts one of the highest densities of global corporates including Bosch, Mercedes and SAP. As a state it has an economy similar in size to Sweden and is Germany’s largest exporter. Located centrally in Europe, it spends around €30 billion on Research & Development each year – the highest intensity of anywhere in Europe.

What do the Startups get?

  • A high profile unveiling at Baden Wuerttemberg’s Start-up BW Summit in Stuttgart on July 11 2024
  • A funded office space in CODE_n for 5 months, with access to its wider eco system and hub network Corporate and VC
  • introductions and on-site visits to our partners
  • Opportunity to join a wide range of start up support packages with key stakeholders
  • Enrolment into an accelerator
  • Mentoring programme
  • Pitching opportunities
  • Guidance on establishing an entity
